vin swap issues

hello i was wondering if some one could help me out idk if i am doing this vin swap wrong or what the deal is

i have a 2002 silverado tune that i segmented the system info from a 2002 camero to get fans to work with a/c. i flashed it to my 2001 tahoe and everything works like it should except my security light is on so i want to put my tahoe vin back in the ecm. When i try it tells me its not licensed even tho i have licensed both the tahoe and the silverado files

can some one help me out with this issue

im trying to change the 2002 silverado tune to have the tahoes vin

Close all programs, delete the file named license.dat found in your documents-hptuners-settings folder, try again.
If that doesn't work, contact HP Tuners support.

You won't be able to change the VIN because they are two different year models. If they were both 02 models with the same OS, you could do it.
