can the expected CMP offset be changed?

I'm running a 411 PCM on my newly rebuilt 99 L29 7.4/454. Engine fires but for some reason the closest I can dial in the cam retard/offset is -10. i've tried two distributors and the scanner doesn't quite get there. Is there a table that can be updated to start with -10 instead of 0?

Problem fixed, guy on an EFI group recommended taking the pin out of the gear and flipping it 180 and repinning. I can get to 0 now.

Yup, that works because the gear has an odd number of teeth (13).

What channel did you use to view the cam offset?
And what calibration file are you using?
