MIL stays on and electric fans don't work 2002 L59 1st startup

This is my first LS swap, so I'm sure I've missed something. This is a L59 5.3L out of a 2002 Tahoe. I started the engine for the first time today and have 2 problems:

1) the MIL will not turn off. HPT says that it's not on and there are currently no codes. Can someone confirm that pin 46 on the RED plug is the correct wire to provide ground to that light? And I'm it's supposed to have keyed power.

2)Fan 2 doesn't come on and Fan 1 is always on. Fan1 comes on with keyed power and never turns off. I can't get Fan 2 to work at all. Can anyone look behind me and just see if I have a setting wrong?

in my PCM
under A/C look for a fan recirc setting
if this is disabled , you can use fan 2, if its enabled the pin out for fan 2 gets used for ac fan recirc

it may be same/similar for you
