Post the hpt file that was originally in the vehicle before you did this, and then the hpt file that you used to write vin/vats/tunerlock.

Ok, I KNOW I was running '1-1_SDOL_VERTT_lunchversion_3.hpt' originally.

I'm 95% sure I overwrote with '1-2-rtVE_V2_maftune.hpt' because I meant to do a write ENTIRE to change the OS type.

But I've included `1-1_SDOL_VERTT_v4.hpt ' in case I was wrong and used this file but it's a 5% chance I did.

Sorry I'm not sure, was switching between OS's and trying to get this thing in the ball park.

Thanks for responding and taking care of me. Great customer service, couldn't ask for much more guys!

Ya, I added a note to add some more protection to prevent against this.

You are letting it retry on the unlock process right? Key on, then wait 15 seconds, then try to write. If it doesn't pass on the second try, you're gonna have to wait.

Basically what you did was change the locking algo from 1bar SD to 1bar MAF, but left your 1bar SD cal in the PCM... thus the software sees 1bar SD and expects to use the 1bar SD algo, not 1bar MAF.

Must be what I did then (wrote the MAF tune hpt file) as I can't get it to connect all it will do is scan. Man this blows. Yeah, that feature may need to be moved away from write entire or something maybe an extra pop up box to verify you know you're about to screw yourself

Well if somebody can help me sooner I'd love to know. Mind e-mailing me the solution when it's avaliable. [email protected]?

    1 week for sure then?

I will not be able to look at the problem until monday.. I'll have to duplicate it on my bench..

You are going to need a special build to fix that problem.

Well things could be worse I suppose. I guess it will give me plenty of time to focus on other projects Let me know when I'm unscrewed.

Most places would have probably told me to buy a new PCM for sure.

    Thanks HPTuners!
