LT4 Data log, channels do not match

I have a 1972 Chevy Nova that has the LT4 with 8L90E connect and cruise. I am having a very hard time getting the tranny tuned to shift correctly and what doesnt help is the channels that are listed on the left side (in text) do not match the gauge values to the right and I cannot figure out why. Have a look at the data log (attached).

For example on the gauges to the right it may say I am in 8th gear doing 21 mph at 1199 rpm. But on the left it says I am doing 58 mph in 8th gear. Do I possibly have a wrong channel selected?

Please help as I have been fighting this for way too long...

Go to the Gauge layout, and edit the gauge properties itself to use the channel you have in the channel list. The gauges are all generic reads from the ECU and will remain that way unless you tell each one to use a specific PID that you want from the Channel list on the left.

Example, you may add IAT(non SAE) on the channel list, but the gauge is still displaying the Generic SAE value. Generic values have two blue arrows next to them in the channel list. ECU specific, the ones that are more accurate, only have one blue arrow next to them in the channel list. When you add a PID and it asks you "Do you want to use the generic value, yes? or no, I know what I'm doing!" Selecting NO adds the ECU specific PID from the CAN BUS stream.
