Just need to hold a idle. P59 5.3 w/ Cam (Learning Process)

This is a bone stock 05 truck, only modifications to the 5.3 being a camshaft with unknown specs and the valve springs that were included in the cam package. All i am looking to accomplish is getting the truck to idle once put in gear and coming to a stop. I got it to start and idle better than it was, i just don't want to make too many changes without some advice from those who are more knowledgeable in the tuning area. What i found rather odd was the owners choice for a camshaft. Reason being, the link for the kit that was installed lists NO CAM SPECS On top of that the truck still has a factory intake filter box and factory exhaust. Manifolds, cats and all. If someone has any advice they wouldn't mind sharing, i would very much appreciate it. Here is the tune, scan and channel config. Hopefully i have enough data to make some sense of.

    Thanks!

    Adam.

The data log is missing some key data that will help you. Like o2 sensors and fuel trims. Just looking at those would tell you if it's running lean or rich.

Could need more base running airflow to help it stay running.

Also it really is a mystery how people find these sites to order parts from. Why would you buy parts that don't even tell you what it is.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

It's 49cm long, what more would you need to know than that?

I forgot to mention, in the scan where the rpms dip down to about 500 or less, i am shifting from Park/Neutral into gear. Was playin around the the base idle airflow, but whether adding or subtracting i didnt notice any improvement. I suppose the amount of fuel its getting could be a possibilty... whoops!

My guess was a BTR Stage 2 truck "knock off" cam at best. I have yet to get a response from the company, so the mystery remains.

49cm camshaft lolol sounds like something Joey aka Beater Bomb would say when asked about the beaters setup.

i made the fueling changes for the scanner.. it also seems like i already took too much fuel out of the VE but the trims still want less fuel? i think i am understanding that right.. It isnt having as hard of a time idling in gear

Also are the electric fans set a bit higher than what they should be?

Change the P0101, 102 and 103 to MIL on First Error. That will ensure that the MAF will be properly failed.
Increase the idle speed to 750 minimum, and likely have to increase the minimum airflow table accordingly.

I would subtract 15 degrees from fan 1 and fan 2 ON/OFF points.
