    Stop Light Acceleration

    Hello,
I've been messing around with shift timings 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 etc. at low accelerations from a stop light. From zero- 60mph. 3-4, 4-5, 5-6 feel less snappy than 1-2, 2-3.
if I bummped up the baseline pressures in that low/ midrange areas, would that firm them up? Like 2,000-3,000rpm low torque 250-350?
Heavy throttle, heavy torque the shifts are very nice/ firm. 2016 ZO6 Auto, E50.

Are you changing shift timing or shift scheduling ?????
Timing generally is left very close to stock if not stock... Scheduling is a different thing

Yes, timing down a little. I also did the shift inertia a small amount. It?s 9 in high throttle settings and 1-2 in low areas. Didn?t feel a difference. I feel/ know that GM up?s all the kick in the high power areas. How high do you guys go for inertia? I had a Diablo tune it it would snap the shift pretty good at low torque. That?s what I want. Thanks for sharing.

I raised the shift inertia about 1-2-3 in mid/ low torque. 1,800-3,000rpm. Time of shifts are .2 1-2. Then about .125 gears 2-3, 3-4, 4-5. Then up in higher rpm, it?s stock settings. The shifts feel pretty fast on moderate acceleration from a stop. TUTD doesn?t feel different til high power stuff. Any ideas on that one? I?d like to hear more. Thanks
