Passlock Chevrolet Colorado

I have a Chevrolet Colorado that has the dreaded security light and will not start. Researching everyone said with HPtuners you just had to disable VATS, i did that, but it made no difference. When the security light kicks in the truck still wont start and have to wait 10 minutes.

Is there a way to bypass passlock completely using HPTuners?

Probably should ask in the particular forum for that vehicle since it could be dependent on those details and to get more traffic on your post.

Pretty sure disabling it through HpTuners, only disables it for the engine side of things. The BCM or gateway module still wont sent a start request signal. It might run and drive though, if you had the ignition in the on position and jumped the starter solenoid to crank the engine. Not really what you want to do though if you dont have to. Not sure if you can bypass the security on the BCM, security or gateway module. Your best bet would probably be to just fix whatever issue is causing the passlock to enable.
