    Unhappy error; can't read!?!

I just got my MPVI Pro last night. Installed fine, including A & B drivers. Setup in car ('06 Chevy HHR 2.4 LE5). Opened Editor to download stock tune. When I clicked "read entire", on step 2, Validating License, I got the following message "Invalid VIN/OS pair. Unable to license vehicle". I was expecting a prompt to license.

Confirmed both USB channels operating. Get green with either OBD or USB only plugged in. I searching the forum, I found something about VATS and followed the help file to relink... confirmed OK.

Any ideas here? The vehicle has never been tuned. One thing to mention... had dealer reflash BCM for stereo problem.

    Tried Scanner... that works fine.

I want to get going here! PLEASE HELP!!!

    Thumbs up

    Bill, I did email support.

I want to say that in this day and age of "Customer Support" being one of the most abused terms in existance that both Chris and Keith have not followed the trend. They both responded promptly and we got the problem solved. It took a .16 pre to fix it with my Chevy HHR 2.4 LE5 / E67.

A special thanks to both Chris and Keith for their support and help!!
