Might as well make my first post.
I recently purchased a 2017 GMC Sierra with the L83 5.3L and the 6L80 transmission. I had also purchased a Trifecta tune for it and wasn't completely happy with the transmission tuning. I pulled the tune out since the truck needed to go in for a new transmission oil pump and torque converter.
Decided to purchased the MPVI3 and have a go at this myself.
I've been doing quite a bit of reading. I see that there are some improvements to be had. I have played a bit with driver demand to get my pedal response a bit better. But moving on to the real tuning is where is currently at.
The truck has a cold air intake and I just replaced the muffler with a more free flowing one.
I'm looking for someone to point me to the correct places to learn and maybe some helpful tips along the way. With all the reading I seem to find some contradicting info.
