    Uh oh, no start

So I read the entire file for the car and saved it. Tried to make a minor change jsut too test and write calibration only. No go. Car no longer starts. This is on an 06 Cobalt SS. I reloaded the stock config and tried it again, no go. Tried turning off ECU and car, turned it back on and retried, no go. Help.

You will probably need to use the Write Entire feature. I have had issues with some 06's that would only write when you used "Write Entire".
You can't kill the PCM's in 06+ cars.

Did that. Write entire and no change. Same deal. Sent en e-mail to support with log and details but no response. It has been two days. I am having serious doubts about using this software at all for anything simply due to customer service or rather lack thereof.

Actually I have not changed the file at all. I messed with it but barely. I am trying to upload the original map. Here it is.

The only email we had was from a guy who had starting issues due to flooding (or so he thought). As this was not a stock vehicle we cannot get involved with motor transpants/swaps that dont work. Chris did reply with some pointers though.

Is your vehicle a stock setup? Otherwise P069 and P2229 does not sound like a software issue.

P2229 is Baro - Pressure Circuit High Input, right?

P0069 is MAP - Barometric Press Correlation

AFAIK those codes mean the MAP value and the predicted value do not match close enough...

Unrelated to the car not starting I think..

Hmm, I guess they never got my e-mail. It has been a LONG time and car is still here. I think I figured it out but still getting some codes I can not explain. At least I got it running. I don't feel comfortable using HP Tuner stuff anymore due to the lack of support. I will likely sel the setup after I am done here.

Well loading the calibration alone didn't work. In fact it fouled out the plugs so after that nothing would work esentially. Once I cleaned out the plugs it seems to work fine but still having problems calibrating injectors. I read up on the forum but my map has no "inj flow rate" anywhere.

actually it does...its under Engine-fuel control-general-injector control-Flow rate vs. kpa

what size injectors did you go with? Were they in the car when you were having problems? If so THAT WAS the problem more than likely.

BTW: I ran into an issue with an '06 Cobalt (P12 PCM, LSJ) where it wouldn't read or write, or even scan. I had to "clean out" my config files from the HP Tuners\VCMSuite2 directory and then everything was happy again.

You will have to re-enter your application key (no biggie) to get going again if you remove your configs from the VCMSuite2 directory though.

Thank you for all the help guys! This forum is great. I only wish the HPTuner staff were as helpful. They claim they never got my e-mail. Umm, I sent it 3 times from two different e-mail accounts. I somehow doubt that. Just plain poor customer service if you ask me. Car running well. Made 281 WHP on the Cobalt with a few mods and 16 PSI of boost.

Great. Glad you got going. Couldn't possibly tell you what happened to your emails though. Cyberspace can be a pain sometimes....
I just tuned my first LSJ (GM stage upgrade kit, ~12 psi) 244 RWHP
I didn't use the GM reflash as there are issues with it apparently.
