nGauge - Wrong Stock File Message (Please Help!)
Hi, I've got a 2018 F-150 with the 3.5EB and 10-speed. I've currently got a custom tune loaded on my truck which was flashed many years ago using the nGuage. I now need to return my truck to the stock tune, but I'm getting a "wrong stock file" error message while attempting to load it using the nGauge under the Load Stock menu. I've read that this is a known issue on 2017+ F-150s and the workaround is to reformat the .stk stock tune as a .enc and save it into the Custom Tunes folder, and then it can be loaded back on the truck through the Load Tunes menu. However, I don't know how to reformat the .stk file to the .enc file format. Can anyone help? I believe I'm on firmware v299 on the nGauge, which is what it was when I originally loaded the custom tune on there now. I haven't made any changes to the nGauge or to the truck since that time. Thank you!

Ended up paying 5 Star to convert my .stk stock file to a .enc version and that worked. Good to go.
