    Stalling after driving

So I am super stumped with an issue tuning my car. Recently added a procharger with all the supporting mods to go with it. I?m trying to dial in my MAF and VVE table and I need to drive the car to do so. But every time I come to a stop the car wants to die on my. Even if I throw it into neutral. The throttle seems to be closing to much and the car starts to run super rich and dies. It has nothing to do with base running airflow. It?s like the car exceeds a limit somewhere in the tune I?m not aware of and it gets stuck like this. I have to turn the car off open the door and close it then restart it and then it?s fine.

Only seems to get put in the ?mode? or safety after driving over a certain mph or taking it higher that 3k rpm.

    Any ideas? Thanks

It amazes me that this still has to be requested time after time. I mean how vague is "my car". Perhaps if these kinds posts went completely ignored people would finally catch on.

    Hopefully these attachments work

New to the whole forum thing, I have the tune in in MAF only as of right now.

I attached a log of when the car didnt stall. and when in does.

    Thanks!

I think I'll start doing that. Saves me the frustration at least.

It looks like this is cammed.. no?

The VVE really must be tuned. It makes such a huge difference downstream.

It was rich in decel and it looks like the downshift tables in the 0% throttle are not setup correctly.. This will cause the idle to be pulled down until you get a downshift. On the downshift it will lurch forward and sometimes start a surge.

There is a cap on idle. ECM 2177 & 2178 Be mindful changing this as on some OS's it can cause ECM processor codes. I'm fairly certain I've not had a issue with this on a G8.

    Thanks for the reply!

The car is heads/cam and procharger

So yes it seems want to run rich and stall. You can see the difference on the log when it didn?t stall the throttle was definitely open more. Keep in mind this is even me putting the car in neutral and is still wants to die.

I havent gotten into tuning the VVE just yet because I can barely even drive it because of the stalling scenario.

It idels great otherwise, just not sure why it goes into this loop for some reason. I will also look at the downshift tables

I ran into this issue every once in a great while when it was n/a but not this bad.
