    Someone Please HELP IDK what im doing!!

    hey guys

    SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME! I put cletus's dumpsterfire cam in my lm7 and have no idea what im doing tuning wise[. Ill attatch a datalog if someone will kindly help or point me in the right direction id really appreciate it

    Your scan is missing channels so here is 2 suggestions.
    1) Start here and study this thread.

    2) Install this to your computer using file explorer to Documents> HPtuners> VCMScanner> Layouts

    idleairflow layout.Layout.xml

    This is an idle airflow layout to use in VCMscanner so you can set up your camed engine once you get to that part.

    Did you install bigger injectors?

    Biggest issue is that you're going to run out of injector. Select a higher flow GM OE-spec injector such as Flex Fuel rated. I'd say use the injectors from the L59, unless someone has a better suggestion.

    After that, post the tune I'll get you started.

    Do the MAF and VE side then worry about idle. Plenty of channels being polled in the log.

    I'm still a novice at tuning. I mean no offense, I would like to understand your statement better here. The reason I said that the log is missing some channels is:
    He is doing some idle tuning and
    1) throttle cracker and follower don't populate the chart vs. time.
    2) in the graph's, the VE STFT & VE LTFT both populate zero's
    I lived my life in a transmission world and at 66 this tuning thing is difficult to wrap my head around.

    I meant plenty of channels being logged to do the bulk of the tuning. VE and MAF should be handled before trying to get idle perfect. If it starts and runs then idle is good enough for now.
