Hello All,
Working on a 2016 Mustang GT Gen2 5.0L with an On3 twin turbo kit. I've been tuning for a while, but haven't done many Gen2 or Gen3 cars. Could really use some help on this one as I have lots of time trying to figure it out. Car runs decent but starts to lean out quickly on the dyno at WOT. Pull starts out fine, slightly lean, but not too bad. At 5,600 rpm injector PW jumps from 9.6 to 15.7 ms up until 6,200 rpm where it suddenly drops down to 10.2 ms and this is where the car starts to lean out quickly. I know it's close to pegging the MAF, but it's not quite there yet. I don't see a change in fuel source or torque source. Something is causing the fuel to be clipped. Fuel pressure is steady through the whole pull at 60+ psi. Let me know what I'm missing please.
Mods are as follows:
2016 Mustang GT manual trans
On3 Twin Turbo kit around 10 psi
1050x ID Injectors
Return Style fuel system with dual 400 LPH pumps (Base FP set to 60 PSI)
E85 Fuel
Stock MAF located in the boost tube
Boss Intake w/ IMRC deleted
Stock TB
Full exhaust, no cats
Billet OP gears
I did a 2014 GT with an almost identical set up, but with an auto trans that made 805 rwhp on E85. Similar fuel system and same injectors and had enough fuel. I'm not even pushing this car yet at around 600rwhp so I don't think it's an issue with the fuel system maxing out. It's got to be something I'm missing in the tune. I've attached the tune and log from dyno pull. Please take a look and let me know what you thank. I greatly appreciate any help.
