Dual timing maps on s/d?

Howdy guys. When tuning gen3 speed density, does the pcm use the high and low octane tables to look up. The reason for asking(didn't check the search), when scanning a power run on the dyno, it commanded the same timing settings as I had in the lower octane table with no knock?? Or does it still use the low table as seen in earlier mafless tunes? Cheers Chev
