A friend of mine is an audi tech and drives a 2014 SQ5 3.0TFSI. He wants me to tune it, but HPT doesn't list coverage for it. He said it's a B8 and SIMOS 8.4 or 8.5. Assuming both of those are true, why wouldn't HPT support it? My audi knowledge is limited so there's probably an obvious answer LOL. Thanks!
I've done a few SQ5's, those utilize SIMOS 8.5, and will work with HPTuners

Hello, I am new here. I have a 2015 SQ5 and am getting a "... this control module is not readable ..." error when reading the ECM. Have you encountered this? It loads a stock file from the server, but I'm worried it's the "Q5" file and not the "SQ5" file which have different stock tunes. I'm very hesitant to flash now, but I need to disable some DTC's eventually. Do you have any advice for me? This is completely normal. Your box code indicates the sq5 software. All of our ECU?s do this
