    new tune here please someone check it out tell me whats wrong

    new tuner here need help with this tune to see whats wrong with this doesnt run well 2003 ls 6.0 ltr with sloppy stage 2 cam and lc9 heads in a 78 trans am plz help


    1st idle log ta.hploriginal tune 6.0.hpt

    Almost looks like the O2s are grounded. That or it's dead ass lean. You check fuel pressure?

    Yes fuel pressure is 60 psi also uploaded original tune and it shows long and short term fuel trims disabled and ect set to 285 so never goes into closed loop does this sound right

    Yep looks like Dr. open loop had his nose pickers in it. I'd turn it all back on and the trims will tell you how far off it is.

    Part of the problem is people following along with Goat Rope Garage videos. He does OL tuning.

    Can I go into editor and just enable my fuel trims or it needs to be programmed in pcm

    Modify in editor, save as and then "Write Calibration" back into the ECM.

    You probably need to make sure you save your original file backup in several locations. Although it sounds like this one might be about worthless and not as important as it usually is.

    Yes. 2003 Silverado 2500 CL enables restored in the attached.

    Do I need to change my ect from 285 to something else so I achieve closed loop and also my obd is underhood so it?s hard to test drive and log only can do it at idle is that ok

    See above. Don't forget the STFT OL enable in the Open Loop tab.

    You need to be able to log while driving. Figure out the harness.

    Ok I?ll add on to the obd harness so it reaches inside of vehicle thanks everyone for the advice it helped tremendously

    Post back a log and we'll look it over for you. MAF has been adjusted but VE hasn't.

    Probably have to pull the radio fuses to write the tune.

    Just the 6.0 engine and factory pcm and have painless wiring harness
