Please help me understand timing tables. I have a full size k5 Blazer with 4.56 gears, BTR torque cam with blended short turn bowls on 862 heads. I created a picture to help me visualize the power band on the timing table. Do people add a few degrees across the board or progressive or at W.O.T?
Like many other people I have added timing across the board until I reached 10 degrees without knock (I think, histogram may be setup incorrectly) which I've since gone back to stock timing table. I think that I'm just going about the wrong way. Any guidance is much appreciated.
