SD tune only question on Knock Retard
In setting up for a trial run at an 'SD tune' only I have a couple questions about how the knock retard function works...
If an 'SD only tune' functions on the low octane spark table, will there be any knock learning going on? I have gathered that the knock retard system moves decrementally down from the high octane table to somewhere in between, or at the low octane table. will any timing values be stored below the low octane table values?
Thanks for all input

Negative. For a SD tune I would recommend using a custom OS. Either a SD specific one (if available) or use a 2 BAR OS scaled to 1 BAR values. They still reference the high octane table so it gives you the low octane table to leave set up for KR.

Where does one find a custom OS for an SD tune?

In the OS tab of your tune
