    ECM 14072 test for missfire

I am polishing my tune and note that ECM 14072 is set at 8192 rpm. Other similar tunes in my repository have the setting much lower; around 500 rpm. Some are like mine, set at 8192.

If the engine is well tuned why would anyone want to disable missfire detection?

    Thank you for any response.

Because when you hit a rev limiter it will see it as a misfire?
