    C5 LS1 in 190e Merc tuning advice.

    I'm from Iceland and I have a 190e Mercedes with LS1 swapped into it from 2000 C5

    The spec
    2000 ls1 from corvette
    T56 with lighter flywheel
    Ported stock heads
Custom medium length headers no cats
    FIC 36 LB injectors 42lb at 58psi
    Fast 92mm intake manifold
    ls3 throttle body
stock MAF Sikky intake from S13
    BBK 25% underpulley
    no AC
    G5x3 Cam 114LSA
    160? thermo
03-0300 AEM wideband hooked to the EGR

I've been spending quite some time as we don't have many options for tuners here on this tiny island
researching and reading about how to do a tune myself, so I've been doing baby steps back and forth
figured out getting it to Idle was priority nr 1, which I think I got down at least it idles around 900rpms without input from the throttle

Then it was VE tuning Been going back and forth on that.
the histograms tell me I'm still running rich, but the more I pull from lower rpms the more it stumbles and bucks at low rpms
at the current VE table it does buckle at low rpm
and if I pull more it starts to stall after a rev.
And if I try to do a MAF tune currently it stalls after just a tiny throttle response.
Not sure about the ETC scalar. it idles very well with 0.0320 and doesn't stall after throttle input but if I lower it, it doesn't idle unless with throttle input.

Any input or advice would be grateful.

Verify 4bar fuel pressure and that it's a non-referenced fuel pressure regulator. Then input the fuel injector data found here:

Re-enable closed loop and tune VE with them. Set PE enable to 85kPa. Use the wideband for PE. Set Fuel>Transient>Min Fuel Mg to 0.028.

I'll see if I can measure the fuel pressure tomorrow as for my regulator it's a C5 Corvette regulator from speedway.
the bosch 36lb injector spreadsheet is quite different from the spreadsheet that came with my injectors from FIC curious why that is.

Thanks for the input I'll try it out

Show me the link to them. I figured they were the GTP injectors.

Ah ok. Then just do the tuning with narrowbands part.
