    older VCM editor version

Heys, ill make this short and sweet. someone i know has a c6 ls7 and im trying to rid the rear o2s but theyre all grayed out. i took the training online and had access to it and now its grayed out once again. i tried doing the course again but nothing. Anyone have an older VCM Editor that theyre willing to email me? the software itself not a link to it or a how to. I cant downgrade my software as recently i had to delete it and reinstall it so it has no history behind it. any help would be very appreciated thank you all

    What interface are you using?

Did you email support and tell them the DTC switches were blacked out again? That's where I'd start.

I don't know that the 3 is backwards compatible with the older software versions.

I had this happen to me when i changed computers. You need to go where you did the training, get a new code and then validate it.

They should go away once the code and course is validated, for a year atleast.

Alas MPVI3 doesnt work with any version prior to 5.

I have my HPTuners syncing with 2 different computers and discovered on one I always lost the training access editable DTCs (always greyed out like you described). I stopped some files from being synced and all is good now (\hptuners\settings)

what update was out last year then? i had the mpvi3 since may 2023 and i was able to do uncheck 02 boxes and change the status as of february of this year. im just trying to make sense of this is all, ive accepted that i wont be able to fix his issue this way so im gonna have to just play with o2 settings. Also this is change of topic would any of you mind looking at his tune from the previous tuner? i think its pretty fine but id like a second set of eyes with some more experince

As the other user @Evil Phoenix pointed out, all you need to do is open the software, -> help -> paramter access. Click the link to go to the training, but you dont need to complete it - all you need to do is generate another device code. Take that and plug it into the box and link the device and bob's your mother's brother.
