Log your load and inferred exhaust/cat temp.
You are probably seeing it try to avoid melting hot fuel-loaded cats with raw oxygen (whether you have them or not), along with protecting the O2 sensors and exhaust valve temps.

Good, now look carefully at your logged temperatures, and then go back and look at the temperature thresholds (in the calibration file) to allow DFCO based on them.
