Have you looked into EFiconnection?

I did a 502 Ramjet with a early setup that used a distributor and 411 then we redid it a few later with coil per cylinder. It ran on a C5 vette OS. Just an option if you haven't seen it already.

That's what I have for my crank and cam signals currently.
This Express Van tune is going to work to get it started. Just need to put some miles on data logging and dialing in.
