So do some pcms have rpm limitations?here's my problem, 2005 silverado, ls3 based stroker, nice build. 24x, 13:1, e85..... Anyway all our rpm limits are set to 10,000, speed limits 200. We hit a rev limit at 7100 rpm, I can hold the pedal and it will bounce off of it. But the funny thing is, that the data log shows rpm peak and gradually slow down, all data from the ecu stops for about 2 seconds so my logs don't show bouncing off this limiter, and scanner just "connects the dots" from the last data point. This engine revs and we need it to. It's a pulling truck and some tracks we will peak at 7000 and some loose tracks we hit the limiter and lose all momentum. I'm on my phone and don't have a way to post a log but I guess I'm really just wondering if this ecu can even process at those rpms above 7000. This is a max effort NA build and I find alot of tuners have never done this.
