    MPVI3 no connecting

I have tried two different vehicles now. I am trying to use the Bluetooth feature as I couldn't connect to either car with he usb cable. I thought the issue may be my laptop so I tried to use the bluetooth feature.

Anyway I connect the MPVi3 to the OBDII and the stat light is green. I hit the bluetooth button and it starts flashing and the device pairs with my laptop. I hit the connect to vehicle button in the VCM software and it tries to connect the stat LED starts flashing red a few times than all the LED's go out and the SW thinks it connects but doesn't actually poll any data and when i disconnect and reconnect it says it cant find the device.

    - Is the vehicle turned on ?
    - Do you have any other logging device also attached to the canbus ? If so, that needs to be disconnected before the MPVI3 interface can read the vehicle
    - Also make sure you ONLY have VCM Editor OR VCM Scanner running on your laptop at any one time. They could both be fighting for control of the MPVI3 interface

Yup vehicle is on. Only thing connected to the bus and only the scanner is open.

Are you running the beta version of VCM Suite ? I had to run the beta for the MPVI3 interface to work. I also didn't mess with bluetooth as it seemed to be unreliable and way slower than USB
