You can buy a 12V inverter for cheap to keep your laptop charged while logging, I've been doing that for years, paid $50 for my cup holder style one. Just don't use it when your flashing, switch-mode noise and ground loops = risky biscuit.

I think I'm going to get a better laptop, smaller and easier to setup in the car. Good idea on the inverter.

I've got a car in the shop right now with that same crate motor. I'm not a fan of the cam they are using.. but anyway.

Your tune will get much much better if you take the time to tune the VVE, or upgrade this to a 2 bar OS and rescale to 1 bar.

I'd dip is often caused by a rich return to idle.

Agree with others.. standalone datalogging just isn't enough for this.

I'm watching as many youtubes and reading as much as I can on this.

You may need to update your Engine size and verify your injector part number before going any further. I thought I seen somewhere you have 42lb injectors? Need to verify the data for those. Is this a ls3 based 427 or 429? Wondering why that wasn't updated if so. Once you verify the part # on the injector, post it up so someone can make sure your data is correct. That's the foundation for the tune.
@LS ROB the injectors are AC Delco 12576341 42lb/hr

    That would be a swap.

Suppose it depends on how you interpret "swap". The engines are used in swaps, but there was no swap here. I'm not following why this makes a difference but I'm sure you're going to correct me again.

OK, have not looked at the tune file until just now so I see it's a GMPP controller, so technically it's not a swap.

Your BRAF is way too low in your first file you posted. Haven't looked at any of the other versions.

But you also need to dial in the VVE, and make sure your injector data is correct, and so on.

I'm 10 videos into the 41 video training course from Evans on Gen4 tuning. Learning a ton and hope to be making some small changes this weekend and testing. The file LS Rob gave me seems like a good improvement. I still want to learn as much as I can.
