Ambient Air Temp

I'm trying to log outside air temp so I can compare it to IAT but when I go to TCM/Environment/Ambient Air Temp it post a temp of 53 degrees when the dash shows 71 degrees and it never changes.

Which channel do I add to show the outside air temp like the dash shows??

You should read from ECM not TCM, ECM > Environment > Ambient Air Temp or just search it .. for me channel ID is 50008.241 for Celsius.
Dont forget to check the unit of the channel and the unit of the dash if they are matching ( both F or both C) so you confirm the readings

I'm sorry I meant ECM. The Ambient air temp is not right. Dash says 71 but Ambient showing 60 in log. Both are F. Where do I look for channel ID?
