    Bent Pin, but still works??

I have a Jaguar F Type, and when I try to plug my MPVI3 into the OBD2 port, it fights me and won't connect unless I push pretty hard on it. Once I pull the MPVI3 out, it has a bent pin. See attached. It seems to be working just fine once I jam it in there. I noticed there was a bent pin this morning before I tried to plug it in and bent the pin back straight, only to bend it again in the exact same position. Do some OBD2 ports have this pin hole missing or something? The car sits 3 inches off the ground, so I can't get my big head down there to look up and eyeball the connector. I tried using my cell phone but I'm not that talented apparently. Any ideas? Should I just go with it?

Nevermind. I found the pinout diagram on a Jaguar forum. That pin isn't used. I'd delete the post but I don't know how.
