Are you trying to see the credits you have used and what you have left?
If so, you don't need to be connected to the vehicle. Connect the MPVI to your computer, go to Help>License Info, then click the 'Get license info' button (The little HP Tuner symbol) to update.

The MPVI needs to be connected to the laptop via USB cable only. You don't need a vehicle to see how many credits/upgrades you have available.

I was tryin to re-install on my computer after a virus ruined it but I figured out what I was doin thanks
