Ls1 only starting with starter fluid

    Need some trouble shooting help,

I have a Gto ls1 swapped into Toyota, I have deleted vats with hp tuners, have around 60psi at my regulator and am getting blinking light at injectors with tester. If I spray starting fluid on start up it will turn over for a couple seconds than run by itself, no starting fluid. Once it?s started it runs fine by itself with throttle response and everything. I?m kinda stumped. Any ideas? Maybe cold start fuel? Or something with cold start

    Thank you

    All stock or modded?

    Have any data logs?
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

It?s a completely stock motor, it?s the full set up from a 2004 Gto. P59 pcm. With t56
I can go do a log real quick. Do you just need to record before you start?

    LOG 1.hpl

It actually started after 3-4 tries with no starting fluid

Open the log then click Log Details in the bottom left. You have a bunch of DTC's, many of which could cause this problem. Most of all is probably the one for the cam sensor.

Having no MAF signal will cause a cranking problem until the MAF code sets. That being said, you really need to go ahead and hook up everything before running it. It looks like you have a few things unplugged or you have wiring problems.

That's exactly what they do when they have a CAM sensor fault, indicated by the P0342 code.

Are there no changes to the tune file between log 1 and 2? I'd say it looks like you turned off a bunch of codes. Did you turn off the P0342?

If you have a non working cam sensor it has to set the code for it to run with the non working cam sensor. If you set the codes to NER, it will not start absent the cam sensor signal.

Then it is probably a wiring or connection issue and not the sensors.A wiring diagram would show if there is something in common with all 3 like maybe a ground or supply voltage. Get a DVM and troubleshoot the wiring.

I checked all the wiring this morning and it was good, I?m going to swap a bunch of sensors and see what happens

Sounds good because sensors usually go bad in 3s.

How long did this engine sit before you swapped it in ? I?m willing to bet your injectors are clogged
