    P59 04 2500HD Which P/N MAP Sensor?

I know this should be a simple answer that I could find via search but I?ve become that old man who can?t use the internet anymore LOL. Turbo 2500HD, which map sensor part number do I need exactly? I?ve searched google and get mixed results with 2,2.5,3 and a 3.5(I think it was anyways) bar sensor options but different mounting style etc. Wiring doesn?t matter to me because if needed I?ll buy whatever pigtail etc but would prefer to do a 3 bar so I would have room to grow as the plan right now is 12-14psi and that puts me close on a 2bar but I could get by with a 2.5 bar if it would give me some unknown advantage elsewhere that I?m not aware of? Thanks in advance

Probably need to add the stock MAP sensor part number to have any chance of guarantee of mounting being the same.

Sorry the stock one is the clip in style I?m pretty sure. I?m guessing they don?t make a clip in 3 bar since there isn?t one on that PCM of NC link?? I remember seeing something about using the Duramax MAP on a gen 3 if wanting a 3 bar, is that right?

That diesel sensor isn't a good fit for gas cars. I don't remember exactly what but I think the minimum it can read is like 35-40 kPA.

Still no part number or even exact details of what the manifold came from or pictures....

But the pictures that I looked up on rockauto for 2004 Silverado 2600 6.0 liter look very similar to the 4bar 12612110 that I have in my 2.0L turbo LNF ecotec and came stock on some 2.0 LHU engines.

    Thanks guys

I guess my question in around about way was is there any reason why I should choose one over the other. Like is there any reason to choose the ?brick? style 3 bar over say the ls3/ls9 style 3 bar map from a tuning standpoint ie is one easier/better to tune with vs the other.

It usually comes down to fitment.

The diesel sensor isn't a good fit for cars for reasons I mentioned above.
    anything more than 255kPa won't work in a E40

Even if you are at the limit of 2 bar (14 psi) I'd stay with a 2 bar. The 3 bar OS's for late GEN 3 really cuts the table resolution down.

    Thank you Alvin.

I know you mentioned the limits with the e40 but would you still suggest the same 2 bar map on a p59? I?m sure I?ll keep it under 14psi for a while anyways, off to find a 12615136 map I guess. I?ve thought about seeing if you or James Short would be interested in tuning this pos because I?m not sure I really have the time to. My work has used you and James both and had great results with both. I live kinda in the middle from both of yall but I didn?t know if a gen 4 swapped 5.3(albeit 24x reluctor still, kinda a gen 3.5 hybrid lol) 2500hd with a s475 running speed density would be something yall could tune via mail order?
