Yeah its definitely an interesting result, not much talk about fuel rails for the LSA, most of it just about how the rails are good for big power and leave them alone.

My car is only mildly done, ~560-600whp region, stock heads & cam, no E85. Im sure the stock rails would support all the power an LSA blower could make, but just the way the aftermarket ones have smoothed the fueling make them worth it in my eyes.

Overlooked mod for the average LS I guess, but big plus on the drive-ability
ALL of the ones I've done/redone had fueling issues. I remember the first one that came in it was a FORE dual pump system, return reg, flex fuel sensor, dead headed into the fuel rail. Customer was like "it seems like it's running out of fuel". My thought was "well yeah you're trying to shove 1300 HP worth of fuel through a 5/16 orifice".

A set of fuel rails, replumb the regulator, move the FF sensor, no other changes, had WAY TOO MUCH fuel.

Since then I've done 3 or 4 of them, almost all identical setups when they come in.

Do you get many swaps in with C5 vette Filter/Regualtors in with too much pump?

Every once in a while I do. I'm a fanatic about checking fuel pressure.

Haha yeah thats pretty wild. Dont know why any of the factory fuel system would be left on a 1300hp car. Strange that rails seem to be regularly left out on big hp builds. Bad information floating around.

Sounds like what youre seeing on the big builds is happening even at moderate power levels. Get the right hardware and then have to pull the fuel that was tooned in to compensate
