need some help - sts turbo setup

i have a 2005 pontiac gto, manual transmission.

the motor is bone stock other then a sts turbo setup.
details: gt67 turbo, front mount, 255 in tank pump, 42lb injectors.

i have access to hp tuners.

i have been in the automotive industry for years, i know my way around the car, but tuning this vehicle with hp tuners software is 100% new to me.

my friend and i have spent countless hours reading everything we can get our hands on trying to soak up knowledge and figure this all out.

we have a good idea of what we need to alter (timing, etc), and how to do so, but we are having some trouble determining the injector flow rate table, primarily due to a lack of information. we know the injectors are 42lb (they are purple tops, believe they are bosch) but are unsure of the "injector rated fuel pressure" and how to apply that information to the above mentioned table.

any other tips/tricks you might want to provide would be greatly appreciated.

if anyone has any hpt files they would like to share for compare/contrast/learning....they would also be greatly appreciated.

thank you in advance for your help!

Well the injector spreadsheet is in the stickies so that should help.
Put in your injector size (42) and then make sure the rated pressure (43.5) and Rail Pressure (58) are correct.
Then just copy & paste into your Injector Flow Rate table.
    Done.

ok, i went ahead and plugged the 43.5 and 42 into the correct areas on the spreadsheet, but i am not exactly sure what numbers i should be copying and pasting into the IFR table in HPT...

the results in the excel sheet next to "injector flow (g/sec)" are small... (6.11 etc)....but when looking at the IFR table in HPT the numbers are much larger...40+

    i'm a little lost here...

    thanks again for any help.

Ok, you need to paste in the 48-55 ish numbers then. Or you can quickly switch the IFR to metric (right click on the table & select Metric units) then you can paste in the g/sec values. Afterwards if you want it back in #/hr you can right click the table & select Imperial units.
