Hello everyone, currently trying to dial in some tuning on a converter for a 16 Silverado with the 8l90e. It's got a 3k circle d stall converter in it. I've got the converter locking pretty good during cruise speeds with no slip and also 0 slip at wot during 3-8 shifts. My question is with line psi, I have found that messing with the line pressure doesn't seem to change much as far as slip and tcc locking. The main changes I've found is messing with the tcc regulator offset. Can somebody give me a rundown on the offset for the converter and how exactly it correlates with Line Psi. I've done simple math by taking line psi minus the offset psi and can't seem to understand how to offset psi either works or how it is calculated. Any help would be appreciated. Also I see the tcm allows for a 143 max line psi, can we safely run close to max on these transmissions without worry of hurting anything or is it best to stay 25 psi lower than max?
