    Stock tune file needed- 2007 5.9 G56

In need of a stock tune file for my manual trans 2007 Ram 3500 SRW. It's 4x4 with G56 trans. The truck is licensed with HPT, unable to read the current tune file as its locked. Looking to get a different tuning platform and need a stock base file to flash to the truck so new tuner can work. Have called some dealers for a reflash and they don't seem to want to touch it. I've attached a stock 07 auto trans file I've found from a thread back in 2016. Maybe someone can convert it to a manual file? Stock 07 cummins auto.hpt

    Operating system shows as 45325751AD

is there any specific calibration that is better to flash to for the 06-07 trucks? are there any benefits of a different calibration vs another?

Yeah there’s a specific one everyone loves to run but I can’t remember which one, I would have to look it up. It doesn’t have a specific DTC in it that sometimes causes people some tuning troubles.

    06 ram stock bin file

im not sure if this is the file your looking for but i have found better sucess with this one versus newer calibrations some of the newer ones throw weird fuel return flow codes that make no sense and this one worked flawless

I generally use a hex editor to open bin files

    Thanks for the file!

I licensed that stock file, then found out that my truck wasn't licensed due to a VIN mismatch on the current tune. So then had two files licensed that don't match my truck (down 4 credits with no outcome. Could have licensed my C7 Z06 instead and played around lol).

I ended up ordering an MM3 tuner overnight from 5-9tuning and am getting an ecm "recovery" done. MM3 looks to have a nice interface, got the EGT kit as well. This should get my truck sorted. As of now my new tune selections are recovered stock tune, 60hp tow tune, and 120hp '12valve' tune

MM3 is great till it falls off the windshield and busts the micro usb connector off

If that's an issue, could possibly get a usb extension that is 90* and has very short cable. Could silicone/rtv surrounding the connection on the back of the MM3 to support it and keep it secured.
