    GT500 DCT Swap into GT350

I am going down the rabbit hole of potential transmission swaps for a track oriented GT350 and am having a hard time finding anything online about swapping the DCT from the GT500 in to any other cars. I understand Tremec has locked the TCU which makes it impossible for the time being, but I am not educated on why this swap isn't possible if you use the GT500 PCM and TCM along with the swap. Has anyone attempted to do this swap and gotten anywhere? I have seen 6r80 and t400 swaps in to GT350 and other mustangs and they used the ECU from the donor car. Looking to gain any knowledge on this topic and hear from people with the experience. Thanks

The firing order that results as a byproduct of being a flatplane V8 makes it very unlikely that the Voodoo was run on a crossplane PCM. There are two places in the firing order of each crossplane Coyote variant where two subsequent combustion events occur on the same bank. The crossplane 5.2L cannot achieve this due to the nature of being a flatplane crankshaft in an engine with opposing. Bank 1 is cylinders 1-4, bank 2 is 5-8. I've underlined and boldened the pairs below:

    Mustang 5.0: 1-5-4-8-6-3-7-2
    F-150 5.0: 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8
    GT500 5.2: 1-8-4-3-6-5-2-7
    GT350: 1-5-4-8-3-7-2-6

Your best bet is to figure out what CAN messages the TCU needs from the PCM (most likely RPM and engine torque at least), and then if the GT350 PCM and the GT500 PCM share the same IDs for the CAN messages that the TCU requires.

We swapped DCT into GT no issues, I can swap DCT to work with VooDoo no problem:

There are at least 5 holes in your statement, sorry but very wrong

Very cool and good work VEEEFOUR working on something but for older mod motors. It takes time and determination to do things like this happy to see some tuners like to do stuff out of the ordinary.

Thank you, its now 100% trouble free. Confirmed to work with 2gen and 3 gen engines. Id gladly confirm this in GT350 engine and other as I believe every V8 can work this way.

I only did workshop test for 350, and everything seems to be 99% on - if somebody is willing to swap a DCT into 350 please PM me.
