6.0 FICM and ECM strategy questions

Hey I was just wondering if anyone could answer a question I have. I was wondering if I could copy the info from one tune I have been using from a vxcf9h7 ECM and put all the info into a vxbc9n8 ECM. Same for a FICM could I use an older strategy and just copy all info over into a newer strategy. Also if anyone has any pointers on how to start tuning these I'm new and trying to learn all I can

Yes you can do that BUT the newer strategies do not use the EBP sensor and the older ones did so you might find it won?t work how you want it to.

What is the main reason you want to swap stuff? Not much changes between the strategies that makes a huge difference.

I was wondering because i have a tune for my 06 that i was going to try running on my dads late 04 the 04 has the newer style hpop so its all the same now engine wise.

And for the ficm i pulled the info for an 03 and found it had a higher pw than my 06 or even the 04 does so i was going to try running that almost like a ficm tune. May leave the higher pressure section alone though because i run a innovative diesel street tune so i may just bump up before the icp spoofing happens. Or atleast that was my thought on the ficm part.
