    Is this the one

Hi all. I am after a code reader and tuner for my 2003 chevrolet silverado. I have a Fozwell that reads codes but I cant alter/ adjust with that. I need to be able to programme my new transmission shift points and try to decipher issues. Is this the piece of equipment that I need please?

Know this, the MPVI from HPT is not designed to be a diagnostic tool at it's core. It will help with diagnostics (it can read codes, cycle some outputs, and log many parameters, it will not have any type of diagnostic flow charts with it) once you know how to use it but, it's core use is modifying some of the calibration tables within the PCM. Make sure you read the main web site as you will have to download their software, buy their MPVI interface, buy credits for your vehicle (if you do want to change the tune file/calibration, you can read and log without buying credits) and have a windows 7 or newer PC.
