2008 Nissan Titan - missing systems
I've just started using my MPVI3 and I completed the training courses, so that opened up the Parameter Access for me. However, even though I can now see additional parameters and maps on one of my other vehicles, my Nissan Titan is still missing the OS, Fuel Sys, System, and Speedo windows. They don't show anything, just blank windows. I'm trying to edit the fuel tank/gauge map to correct the gauge (which shows 1/3 of a tank when it is empty), but I seem to have no access to the map. I have to connect to the vehicle on this one to run the VCM Editor, otherwise it will give a definitions error.
Am I missing something, or is there additional training or requirements for this? Is this normal for the Titan? Thx.

You?re not doing anything wrong.
? The missing maps and limited access are a known limitation of HP Tuners on Nissan platforms.
? Critical maps like fuel gauge calibration (tank-to-gauge mapping) are not exposed for the Titan?s ECU.
? Even after completing all HP Tuners training, the software can only display what has been reverse-engineered and unlocked for your specific model.
⸻
Consider These Options:
1. UpRev
? Offers more native support for Nissan vehicles.
? May provide access to the specific parameters you?re trying to adjust (e.g., fuel system calibration).
2. External Programmer or Custom CAN Tool
? Some advanced tuners use CAN analyzers or custom firmware tools to reprogram or recalibrate BCM-related functions, including fuel gauge correction.
? This approach is more technical and usually requires deeper knowledge or professional-grade equipment.

Let me know if you want this turned into a forum reply, support ticket message, or need help locating a tuner who can handle CAN work.
