I understand the DOD and VVT part pretty well as far as deleting that in the tune file. I watched several of Matt Sanford's videos on tuning these trucks. Most of them are for the Choppycabra or Truck Norris cams. But I used the information as a base line. I'll attach what I can figure out how to. My idle is ok, I runs down the road okay but theres still a lot of tuning to do. In park, I can rev the engine a bit and it just hangs out for an extended period before going back to idle. And when I'm in gear and let off the brake, I'll go 20 mph without touching the gas pedal. It wants to be at 1300-1400 rpm even though I set it as 725. I suspect I need to add fuel as my ST/LT fuel numbers are pretty high. I'll post a log I took while driving. I do have a AEM WB that I still need to install. Thanks for any help in this regard. I was originally going to take it to a shop for the tune but It didn't have enough power to run over flat ground, so now I'm committedThanks for the input. I also remember Matt mentioning that if you go from VVT to non-VVT, that using the spark table from an earlier non-VVT engine would be a good start. I haven't tried this just yet. Curious what yall have to say before I change too much.
