42rle/ngc3x option missing?

hey, so I just got a mpvi3 a couple days ago to play around with on a couple of projects, so forgive me if this is a dumb question, I'm new to this.

currently I'm playing with my 2005 Dodge Dakota 3.7L with a Ats diesel 42rle/torque converter (it's a jeep TJ transmission). I noticed when I try to read the TCM, I don't have the option of NGC3 or NGC3x. however after some research I see the option is available for 2005-2006 Jeep TJs with the same trans https://wranglertjforum.com/threads/...ler-tjs.16403/

so that got me wondering if I was missing something or doing something wrong. I'm using the stable build of vcm suite if that matters.

what I'm looking to do is alter my shift points for 2nd gear up shift / 3rd gear downshifting

I think you have the 42RLE confused with something else. The 42RLE is fully electronic and most certainly does have a electric solenoid pack as I've replaced it before ��Screenshot_20250221-142442.png
