GTI 7.5 torque limits and boost control

    Hi guys

The problem I encounter is that the cylinder fill always caps at 1389g/stroke, I also cannot make more than 405~ nm of torque wether the map is at 230kpa or 215kpa

Where do I make the appropriate changes to be able to make more power and also have higher cylinder fillings

I've read on the forum on other threads where I might hopefuly find some answers but no luck, still have questions

    I've attached below the files

    Thank you for your help

whats your hardware setup? manual or DSG?

The airmass cap is just the measurement PID.

It's a DQ250 gearbox, the car is all stock, nothing done to it, just some calibration of boost control, fuel and torque tables

Could you explain a bit more about the PID thing?

    Thank you

For a stock turbo car you don't need to use the wastegate patch etc. You also need to make sure all DSG side limits are up and out of the way.

Post your stock read file and we can help.

I used the wastegate patch to be able to adjust the wastegate duty cycle values, the old axis from factory used normalized wastegate flow and wastegate pressure ratio, things I cannot log therefore it would be extremely hard to tune something you don't get to understand.

That being said, I updated the patch so I can adjust the wastegate position based on TIP desired, initially I wasn't making much boost right after the os update, but with some tweaking I was able to raise boost quite safely

The issue is the torque values, can't get more than 410~

I'll have the stock file and the stock os one attached here, let me know if you need anything else, thank you

Without a DSG tune the DSG will always limit the airmass and torque the ECU can make. If the car is bone stock you shouldn't really need to mess with the wastegate maps all that much.

Thanks, I looked into it and indeed there is a 400nm limit there, will adjust it and log again
