Procharged 2013 1500 545RFE Trans tune
Hello HP tuners members!
I have a transmission shop that specializes in 47/48/66/68RFE. We are very familiar with rebuilding Chrysler transmissions. Recently, we took on a 545RFE build due to its similarities to the 66RFE. It is in a procharged 2013 ram 1500 that makes some good power. We built the transmission with a high pressure valve body (reverse pressure modification) to allow over 200 PSI capability. We felt that if we could tune this transmission to make 200 PSI, it should have no problem living behind a procharged gas engine. The transmission is setup with additional 2C clutches and additional overdrive clutches. We are not experiencing any bindups.
However, we are really running into a wall getting HP tuners to make this transmission shift the way we would like.
We want 200 PSI in every forward gear, and to remove the prime function altogether. We want it to shift 1-2-3-4-Lockup-5. We thought this would be a simple feat given our results with tuning a 68RFE in a 07.5-09 truck, but this is truly a different process.
Can anyone make any recommendations on someone that can set us up with a file for this application?
We have set all of our pressures to 200 PSI in our calibration, however, second gear will command 125 PSI maximum. Also, when I watch a log, every time a D2P occurs, I see a reduction in transmission output speed I'd like this turned off completly.
