Good day, I have a 1928 Dodge I swapped a 2005 Chrysler 300 5.7 into, I started out with the 300 ecm and had it tuned by a fellow that screwed it up, I ordered an ECM from DIY Hemi with a tune. I have driven this set up 10000 miles. All works well I can scan and such with VCM scanner, but if I try to read the ecm I get the Controller unlocker error. I can use my bench harness and read it no problem and I can put my origional ecm in the car and read it no problem. I have checked and rechecked the wiring and it is all correct, there are only 5 wires for the obd2 port Can bus + and - two grounds and a keyed 12 volts. Any help would be appreciated.
