The HP Tune will be the same as the stock tune unless you make changes to it. Tell us what changes you are looking to make and maybe others will be able to help guide you in the right direction or to the right person.
i haven't tuned a 7.3 with hpt because i always tune using minotaur software or binary. switch on the fly is much better because you can tune tranny and ecm with each position.
Do you have any suggestions for using Minotaur? I would like to make a few changes to my personal truck but noticed HPT has almost nothing compared to Minotaur. If I am looking for say a 50hp equivalent is it even worth using HPT for this thing?Originally Posted by Powerstrokecustoms

hey. this thread is old, but i have a stock 2002 7.3 with a donor ecm and a donor IDM i would like to basically sync them together with my MPVi2 and i need a basic stock file to upload onto my MPVi2 and "flash" my truck can you help?

Just to verify.... I have a 2002 7.3 power stroke automatic with electric 4x4 and A/C. it does not have California emissions on it. I need a stock file to upload onto my MPVi2 and basically "flash" my truck so its all synced together. I don't want to use a IDM module from ford, I do not want to use a SCT or a Minotaur I prefer for this basic task and just about everything I do here at my shop to use my MPVi2 and 3 and would like to keep everything the same. Just a simple stock file i can upload would be greatly appreciated
