    2014 Silverado tuned or trash?

My friend has been driving this silverado around for about a year. He put some larger tires on it recently and started to experience a hard 2-3 shift and from what he remembers it didn't start doing that until after he had someone recalibrate the speedo. I can tell the misfire diagnostics have been tuned out which shouldn't have been done and dod disabled. Anyone have a stock 2014 5.3 silverado tune to compare to?

Looks like upshift TM is disabled. There is a lot of rough work in here including the spark table. Stock would probably have more power and much better trans life.

After you turn TM back on it's going to shift real funny unless you clear all the shift adapts.

Some people still believe a tire barking shift through a stock 6l80e means good tuning. Just because its cool dont mean its healthy. Now when you are putting down enough power to break traction on a shift with tm on you are getting somewhere.

I can only imagine what this does to hard parts Thank all of you for the info. Hopefully I will get the opportunity to fix it by returning most of it back to stock!

I assume you are referring to the Controls and special functions> Transmission > Automatic> Trans reset/preset function or also the Trans fast adapt/relearn?

I normally only do the reset/preset. Not sure what the fast adapt/learn is for but i have never seen anyone recommend it.

Screw the shift timing up bad enough and it will break intermediate shaft.
