2012 RXPX 260 worth buying credits for?

I have a 2012 rxpx260 I just finished building the engine and getting ready to install. While its been out I removed the FA in the intake manifold, installed a rear exhaust, removed the air box and have a 4" intake, and installed an 08 px intercooler and have a retarded cam (stock cam) just retarded cam timing on the slotted cam gear lol. Ive had HP tuners for a while but just last week realized it could be used on BRP products. Would it be worth paying for the credits to remove the speed limiters? Ive read conflicting info on removing them on a pretty much stock ski. If it would get me 2 or 3 mph it would definitely be worth it to me.

you shouldn't be retarding the cam without a tune!

Its the factory tune. Since the motor was apart when I got it I cant put it back in the exact spot it was from the factory. And all of the ones ive seen from the factory are all different anyways. Are you saying I should advance the cam If I remove the speed limiters?

cam should be adjusted according the the marks on the cam gear. the correct position is the left mark on the cam gear slightly leaning towards the exhaust side of the head.
don't run a retarded cam without a tune that's made for it.

I locked the crank and cam, aligned the two marks on the cam gear with the sealing surface of the valve cover to head, put the bolts in cam gear and rotated the cam gear towards the exhaust manifold. So the left timing mark is slightly tilted towards exhaust. Should be good. I done this same thing on an 04 rxp I had and never had an issue but it had a different part number on the camshaft. Apparently the older cams were better. Atleast from what I?ve read.

I was in the same situation as you. I thought it is was very much worth it on my 260 RXTX. You can turn the speed limiter off and get rid of most of the tq management is a drastic improvement itself.

Does a 2012 have torque management? Do you have HPT screen shots of the tables?
