    2020 1500 5.3 p0011 & p0016...

Perfomed a DOD delete on this engine for a customer. Used a complete Texas Speed kit. After starting, truck seemed to be a little low on power (to me anyways). After about 2 miles on test drive CEL popped up. Scanned and had P0011 (Cam position timing-over advanced) and P0016 (Crank/Cam position correlation). Keep in mind, this engine has 40K miles and ran just fine before the cam swap. Assuming i may have got it a tooth off, i tore it all the way down just to find it was perfectly lined up. My question is after setting the RPMs to not let the DOD activate and disabling the 4 DTCs for the DOD solenoids, is there something else I should be altering to make it happy? Truck seems to run super smooth other than a little low on power in my opinion. Thanks.

Did you keep or eliminate the VVT and phaser?

I did not eliminate the VVT or phaser. I havent had an issue before with those in the past after doing the delete. Would it have been better to just remove it all together?
